  From the very first time and even with basic computer skills, you can start issuing cards immediately as the use of the Dualys 3 is very straightforward: - eMedia Card Designer Software is delivered with every printer as well as drivers for Windows 2000, NT 4.0 and Xp and 7.  The ergonomic concepts such as the clamshell opening system and the detachable card feeder make card loading and unloading, ribbon installation and cleaning simple and easy to perform. - The standard USB port makes the printer plug-and-play. Additionally, the cables are supplied with each printer.

  - With a 125 cards/hour print speed, 2 sides (YMCKOK), the Dualys 3 has the most outstanding throughput of its category. - The card feeder is fitted with an exclusive weight concept which applies permanent pressure on the whole card surface whatever number of cards loaded in the feeder, and therefore ensures better overall printer performances. - The Dualys 3 incorporates our Ribbon Saver feature for monochrome printing, which will only use as much of the ribbon as is necessary. Result: reduced cost/card!

The Dualys 3 Mag is a color / monochrome sublimation printer which includes an encoder for magnetic stripe cards.

This encoder allows you to personalize your cards in two different modes:

• ISO 7811 Norms using tracks 1, 2 and 3 (standard factory settings)

• Custom mode for specific applications (with different track formats, density per track, start and stop characters…). For magnetic specific encoding developments, please ask us the programming guide or contact our technical support.

Not forgetting to mention that the encoder can be defined by the user to operate with either a low (300 Oersteds), medium (2750 Oersteds) or high (4000 Oersteds) coercivity, by a simple click via the Windows driver. To set the medium coercivity, select high coercivity in the Windows driver.

The Dualys 3 SMART is based on the characteristics of the New Pebble printer and integrates a Smart Card Contact Station which enables you to personalize the chip cards. The Dualys 3 SMART is compatible with any ISO 7816-2 Chip Cards.

The push & contact system of the Smart Card Contact Station provides the contact with the card only when a personalization of the chip is required. This advantage ensures a better Contact Station durability and a higher card printing quality as it prevents scratches on the card surface.

This option is factory settings as standard and not field upgradeable.
